It truly is. This is in Maple Ridge B.C. on the Alouette River. People have evidently been swimming in there since the 1920's. I would like to try it out tomorrow if I wake up early enough.
I love real swimming holes- there is only one other I can think of in Langley that is nowhere near as big as this one- but both are pretty cold.
