I had the wings sketched out for some time but only really went at this piece last night and finished it today. It still needs something...suggestions appreciated. :)

But in the meantime I can dedicate it to Charton Heston who died today. An actor, acitivist and spokesman for the causes he believed in. I greatly admired him. :)

Edit: added stars and halo (duh!) and fixed up the odd feather and star.
Edit 2: this is the somewhat coloured version :)

Edit: :iconlucias-stock: [link] is one of my favorite models to use for reference.

Wow, it's pretty amazing. I LOVE angels... My suggestion is: add some little splashes of color, as you did to the lips. Or colcor it in really soft colors. Looks great already, anyway :).
