few things is why do you pixelate your image? the first image you have there.
2 I cant read that font I mean I can but its hard too small and its on the image it self
maybe try aril and try placing it on white below the image
I seen your gif you made but it went to fast and I couldn't read it :|

I would like to see YOU make a tutorial for your Alice picture!...That's the kind of thing I'm not good with at all and I always look forward to seeing how someone plays around with images I'm familar with when they create an art work!

The first image is a photo reference and the point is that it does not have to be the greatest picture to work from for this tutorial...
I actually uploaded a new version because I wasn't happy about the font and put up a static version- size in kb's was getting to be a consideration as well :(
