are you creating these with Illustrator? I've just put my copy on order and as I've never tried it before and therefore know exactly nothing about it, I find myself very curious as to your methods of creation. :)

These latest works of yours in particular have been some of your best. If you even find time, I'd very much be interesting in learning how it is you do what you do :D

I use Corel Draw actually. I've tried using Illustrator and find it awkward and lacking ease of use but there is a lot of help online for it.
Making patterns is mostly about repeating elements in a consistent way and software usually ships with a lot of premade objects so fortunately you don't have to create all of it on your own. :)

Ah.. I think I have an old copy of Corel Draw floating around here somewhere. I had been sifting through various programs in my attempt to switch to digital and I remember REALLY scratching my head over -that- one :P

Of course, the was before I knew or understood what a 'vector' -was- let alone what they were used for or what was used to make them *g*

I'll give the pattern thing a try though... It would come in handy whilst texturing. I will also poke around online for assistance since it's not Draw, either. However, if you wouldn't mind terribly.. I'd like to poke you occasionally for a nudge in the right direction if/when needed? I promise not to be a pest about it though :P I tend to learn well on my own for the most part. I just like having someone nearby that actually knows what the hell they are doing.. You know.. just in case I make it blow up or something :D

Thanks for the tips! I'm off to scour the web :)

I should mention that most of the patterns I made (not the vector ones) were made with a different program that had a kaleidescope kind of filter. Adobe Photoshop probably has a seamless tile filter - Corel Photopaint v.10 did too but it didn't work right!
Making bitmapped patterns is way easier and faster than making vector ones (in C. Draw) for me but the latest version of Illy probablably has a plugin or filter will make some of this easier.
Also check out :iconpamzylove:'s gallery- she shares a lot of Illy tricks that will interest you :)

Oh my!! that -is- a helpful link! She's remarkably talented!

*sigh* sometimes being on DA can make you feel really -really- small. :P

Nevertheless, I am ALWAYS happy to learn something new, regardless of HOW much I might complain about it ;) Thank you very much, for the information, as well as the linkage. Tis much appreciated! :D

Any chance of you post the PNG or JPEG files for these? My Psp doesn't open this kind of file :(... And I loved those (as I usually love your patterns)
